Tracey EasonWelcome to my e-Portfolio!
Hello everyone. I am a trainer at the University of Alaska Anchorage Child Welfare Academy and provide training to child welfare professionals. Alaska has been my family’s home since 2001. I began my journey in Child Welfare in Dillingham as a Protective Services Specialist in 2010. We moved to Anchorage in 2014 where I worked at Adult Protective Services for several years. However, I was drawn back to child protection work and went to work for the Office of Children’s Services in Wasilla. I moved over to training child welfare in 2017. My bachelor’s degree is in Human Services and I am currently pursing a master’s degree in Social Work. |
My Mission: I am passionate about helping new child welfare professionals learn tools they need to accomplish their missions and helping them be resilient.

Fun Facts: I have a lot of hobbies. I really love spinning yarn, sewing fur mittens, knitting, quilting, and spending time with my family. I also spend time volunteering, and I absolutely love horses and anytime I have the opportunity to ride, I do. Another fun fact is that my first “adult” job was six years in the United States Marine Corps.
